Say goodbye to the stale crackers and cookies, candy bars, and other boring fundraising staples. Edibelles is offering Southern treats to bring in the dough.

The Savannah based gourmet wholesale foods company, recently launched a new fundraising division – Good Golly’s. The new product line features a cheaper alternative to the traditional school fundraising options.

Local growers also benefit from the new product line. Georgia Grown ingredients are used to make the “Southern-inspired gourmet cookies, snacks, and sauces.”

Co-founder Madeline Warren said she was inspired by a school teacher who described a need for more fundraising ideas. “With so many products for schools and organizations to choose from, Good Golly’s offers a fundraising program that is unique to Georgia,” Warren said in a statement. “Our products are made right here in Georgia and incorporate famous Georgia-grown ingredients like sweet peaches and crunchy pecans.”

Schools are free to choose the right fundraising plan to fit its needs. Teachers can choose to sell for a few weeks to several months. In addition, there are no up-front costs or minimum orders. Each item is priced at $5 and the schools and organizations keep 50 percent of the profits.
